Finally the new PinkMap 2.5 Version arrived at the AppStore, and some of you might have seen the new killerfeature: the new ” Location Check in Function”. You are now able to check in into locations with just one click via iPhone, and show everybody : Here i am!
If your profile is connected to Facebook, of course this message will appear on your Facebook Profile, too.
In the map you can see if you are able to check in into a location or not.If you can check in, the Lcoation is marked with a red number (Badge). There will be shown every Location in your area with a radius of 1,242 Miles, and in every location which is closer than 100 meters you will be able to check in directly…
If there is another PinkMap User which checked in into your Location, you will get a push notification, so you can turn arround and wave to him if you like to. If you click at a Location, you can see in the Feed who checked in in the past and with the “Info” Button you can see who is checked in at the moment….

At PinkMap you have the possibility to add your Locations and execute and present them on your own.
To became a official PinkMap Location and have the chance to present your own Location site at PinkMap you just have to add your Location at PinkMap.com. The only thing you have to do is to push the “Add Location” Button at the right side and there it goes.
Now you have to add the necessary infos like name and adress, kind of location, homepage and email and a short description of your location. The new location will appear on our screens, we check if everything is allright, confirm the location, and ready is your own location site at PinkMap. Of course you have as Location Admin the possibility to change the locations infos and description.
Every Location which is added to PinkMap has its own link, which you can find on the location’s site and which you can use to invite friends and acquaintance to became fans of your location. Also there is a Button Generator on the location site. You can choose between different Buttonstyles and the generator will generate a special code wich you can integrate in your Homepage, so everybody can see that this is a official PinkMap Location. Also it works as a direct link to your Location for your friends and acquaintance.
The PinkMap Location Guide comprised over 5000 Gay Locations all over the world till today. But of cause thats not enough!!
We are trying to collect as much Gay Locations as possible, and for that reason we need your help! From now on you are able to insert new locations on your own, doesn’t matter which kind of location.
There is the Option ” ADD HERE“, where it just needs a couple of Klicks to add the necessary infos like name, type, adress and description to your location.
If you create a Location you will be automatically its Admin, so you can upload pics and add events. In the last move we unlock your location and thats it.
