Details and Functions in Release 1.0

- create and manage your own account

- Profile with picture, general informations, interests, likings, photo albums and bulletin   board

- display of PinkMap Users, locations and your own location on the map ( satellite and street view)

Today it’s time again: We introduced a new language to PinkMap, welcome to France or also ” Bonjour et Bienvenue”

Beside Germany, Austria and Switzerland we are moving forward in other country, too, and we don’t want our french men to be ignored.

And beside tasty french wine and fresh croissants, PinkMap! will be another french delicacy from now on.

To change the language to French, you just have to enter our site and click on the french flag and here we go! Of Course the PinkMap iPhone App will follow with the next release….

Messieurs, nous sommes fiers de vous présenter PinkMap!, la première plate-forme de rencontres gays accompagnée d’un guide novateur. Avec PinkMap, vous avez la possibilité de rester en contact avec vos amis tout en faisant de nouvelles rencontres en temps réel, ceci grâce à la nouvelle technologie des push notifications disponible sur votre iPhone ou iPod Touch.

Les possibilités sont infinies! Vous pouvez trouver les restaurants, bars, clubs ou lieux de drague les plus proches de chez vous. Invitez également vos amis directement de vos contacts. Même draguer est plus facile grâce aux messages, chat, statuts et échange de photos!

Vous n’avez plus de batterie? Pas de problème, vous pouvez rester connecté avec notre version web sur web.pinkmap.com. Vous pouvez dès à présent télécharger PinkMap! sur l’iTunes store et rejoindre notre communauté de garçons qui ne cesse de s’agrandir en cliquant sur le lien iTunes.

Avec PinkMap ! vous avez la possibilité d’ajouter vos lieux préférés et les présenter comme vous le désirez sur notre guide.
Afin de devenir une “official PinkMap Location” et de pouvoir ajouter votre propre site web, vous devez ajouter votre établissement à PinkMap.com. La seule chose que vous avez à faire est de cliquer sur  “ajouter adresse” en haut à droite.

Ensuite, vous devez remplir le formulaire en indiquant le nom, l’adresse, le type de lieu, votre page d’accueil, une adresse e-mail, et une description de votre établissement. Une fois cela fait, nous vérifierons ces informations, les confirmerons, et votre établissement sera disponible sur PinkMap ! Bien entendu, en tant qu’Admin, vous aurez la possibilité de changer les informations et la description à tout moment.

As you know we are working all the time to get PinkMap better and more user friendly. To go on with this we are searching for Location Scouts and PinkMap Admins.

We are searching for people which would like to support us as a Location Scout or a PinkMap Moderator. As Location Scout its your business to check out Locations in your City or Area and infix them to PinkMap.

As an PinkMap Moderator you support the Community with your knowledge, aswer questions and settle disputes in the Community, nearly like a big brother. Its also your business to support other PinkMappers and help them with their Problems. If you are a Location Scout or an PinkMap Moderator you won’t see commercial at PinkMap any longer and you will have a golden Star at your Profile Picture, so everybody can see what you are.

If you would like to became a Location Scout or an PinkMap Moderator just send us a email and help us to improve PinkMap!!

The most of you propably noticed, there is something new at PinkMap.

Since Yesterday PinkMap has a new baby, the PinkMap Location Guide. The PinkMap Location Guide includes all the Locations which are recorded at PinkMap, at least more than 6000, and with the new platform its possible for everybody to find gay locations all over the world, just by using Google.

Of Course we won’t stop entering Locations and you can also enter Locations just like you know it.

Yesterday we submitted the new PinkMap Version to the AppStore and we hope it will be released today or tomorrow. So its time tell something about the new Features in the latest Version.

• User & Location search: You can now search for users & locations by their names and other information
• New and faster Chat
• New look: The walls where the users’ activity is presented have now more features (clickable links, simple reload) and are faster
• Added user status icons
• Added in app purchase: You can buy premium membership to support PinkMap! development. As premium member you won’t see any ads and have a crown in you profile picture to show others that you are supporting PinkMap
• General bugfixes: The app should now run more stable and generally faster

At this place we need your help again: Please  write us your opinion about the new search function, the new version of PinkMap in general, your ideas and, of course, what you think could be improved at PinkMap!

Some of you already noticed it. From now on PinkMap shows up with new location icons. More dynamic, fresher and friendlier; thats what our 12 new icons express now.

We were given the green light from Apple in only 3 days. Again a new record! We realize that you must be curious about what the update offers. We can tell you that the new app is totally worth the download. Yeah! :

• New message reload function.
• Fixed the “edit profile” bug.  Now you can edit your profile at the iPhone without any problems.
• We solved some other small bugs and spent a lot of energy into the speed optimization.

The year 2009 is coming to an end. We here at the PinkMap Team are taking time to reflect back on all the events and highlights of this past year. After we started in September, everything was off to a busy start with a lot of work going on both on the streets and behind the scenes. We grew and went international in November and are continuing to go forward with new developments and advancements – this all thanks to your support and feedback. For this we would like to say thanks from all of us here at the PinkMap Team!
