Striptease for the Pope

This week, Pope Benedikt got a private Striptease of the special kind.

The artists from the circus “Fratelli Pellegrini“, which visited Rome for a minister- conference, made a step visit at his weekly general audience and gave him a small look into their show. Facebook supports its gay employees

Marc Zuckerberg, developer of Facebook, announced that he is going to pay additive tax for his gay employees.

Even though in some of the states in the U.S.A. it is legal to marry your partner if you are gay, for the tax it doesn’t matter.

Because of this, some big companys are paying the health insurance for their gay employees by choice. But that lead to the fact, that homosexual employees have to pay more than 1000 $ per year more than their heterosexual co- workers. Now, Marc Zuckerberg announced that Facebook is going to pay the next years tax for their homosexual employees.

First gay marriage in a air plane

A few month ago, a swedish airline searched for a homosexual couple to marry. Now two couples got married above the clouds.

Some month ago, the swedish airline SAS searched for a couple to make them a kind of special present (see here). Now the fans have voted on the airlines facebook page and this week the two couples with the most votes got married.

In the air space above sweden, the conservative and openly gay Christopher Fjellner, which is sitting in the EU- parlament for sweden, married the two couples. One of the couples were to women from poland, the other a gay couple from Berlin. Immediately after they got married, the airline brought the couples to the U.S.A. for their honeymoon.

The Pope allows condoms

Pope Benedikt, a man which is known to be conservative, even for a pope, announced that he will allow condoms.

In his book, which is going to be released on thursday, Pope Benedikt announced that for some special reasons, the use of condoms is okay. That might be a small step, but from the churchs sight its a turning point in church history.

The vaticans newsletter quoted the Pope from his book, in which he declared that there are some reasons to use condoms, for example to provide HIV infection. But he also said, that this can’t be the right and ethical good answer, its just good for the moment.

LGBT demonstrations in Russia and Poland

This weekend, gays, lesbians and fiends went on the streets of Russia and Poland to fight for their rights.

It was the first official homosexual demo which took place in St. Petersburg this weekend. 20 members, under them Nikolai Alekseev and three other gay activists from Moscow, demonstrated for the rights of gays and lesbians in Russia.

While crossing the center of St. Petersburg, the demonstation was attacked by nearly 40 counter- demonstrators, most of them rightists extremists and orthodox christs. Some of them throw eggs on the protesters, but were pushed aside by the police.

Pentagon does not see a damage through gays

The Pentagon did a new analysis and decided that “don’t ask don’t tell” won’t have any consequences to the army.

After the rumors in the last few month about the “don’t ask, don’t tell” command in the U.S. army, the Pentagon decided to order new analyses about don’t ask, don’t talk.

According to this new analyses, the abolishment of the “don’t aks, don’t tell” command won’t have any effect to the army or the troops morality. The Washington Post published these first results of the study which is going to get public next month. 70 % of the soldiers which were interrogated answered that they don’t fear bad consequences. The defence secretary Robert Gates is the oppinion the “don’t aks, don’t tell” command has to be abolished as soon as possible.

Kind of new salutation for the pope

At his this weeks trip to Madrid, the pope was greeted on a special way.

Pope Benedikt XVI. was on sunday on a visit to spains capital Madrid when the spanish gays and lesbian made him a special welcome.

On the Plaza de la Catedral nearly hundreds of them made a flashmob, by kissing each others. In the moment, the pope entered the place in his popemobile, they all began to make out until he left the place again. Are Gays really welcome to Apple ?

It seems like Apple does have a small problem with gays at the AppStore.

In the last past month, it seems more and more that Apple has a small problem with gays at its AppStore. Now the developer of the AppJack’d” reported, that they got a warning notice when they submitted their App to the AppStore.

According to this warning notice, it would be inadvisable to use the word “gay” in the despriction for the app and could lead to rejection from the AppStore. Untill now, it happens more than once that gay apps were removed from the appstore, in most cases the reasons for this were naked or pornographic pictures.

A new iPhone app, which was supposed to be funny, hadn’t that much fans.

A new iPhone app, called “Peekaboo Tranny“, angers the homosexual scene. The new app, which was supposed to be funny, transfers a tranny with a lollipop and in a absurd pose in the picture you just shot.

Now the “Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation” (GLAAD) complained about the new iPhone app. Apple, which has its own, very hard line of censorship, admitted the deprecatingly app to the appstore without any comment.
