After some problems, now finally the CSD Budapest is canceled.

After some stop and go for the Christopher Street Day in Budapest at the 18th of july, it seems like its finally canceled.

The police backed down the permission for the parade. The CSD Budapest 2011 was allready sumitted and allowed, when the presenter wanted to change the parades route to pass the parliament. The police took this chance to cancel the parade, whith the justification, that the traffic volume will increase. One of the aims of the CSD 2011 was to demonstrate against the new constitution, which is going to ban gay- marriages.

The ugandan homo- activist David kato was beaten to death, in his own flat.

Uganda is one of the country which is bearing down gays and lesbians like no other country.

Now, one of the countrys most famous homo- activists, David Kato, was beaten to death in his own appartment. At the moment, its a strained situation in Uganda, because the conservative gouvernment party wants to introduce the death penalty for gays and lesbians. Western politicians requests Uganda to decriminalize homosexuality, for example the president of the EU parliament, Jerzy Buzek.

The catholic bishop Luis Bambarén wants gays to be official called fags.

The high- ranking peruvian bishop Luis Bambarén anounced that he wants gays to be called officialy fags.

During an interview about the parliamentary elections in april, bishop Luis Bambarén told the news paper that he doesn’t understand  all the duscussions about the term “gay“. According to the newspaper, Luis Bambarén said, that they should call gays what they are, “Maricón“. This spanish term means nothing than “fags“. In his election campaign the bishop is fighting against the same sex marriage and does not want the gays to be accepted.

In his last speech, the iranian president agitates against homosexuals again.

The iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinedschad said in his last speech, that there are good reasons to hound gays and lesbians in his country.

In a speech in the city Yazd, he answered some questions about his sight of homosexuality. He remembered his speech in New York three years ago, where he argumented that gays and lesbians would be against god and the humanity. According to Ahmadinedschad is this engagment the reason that there are no gays and lesbians in Iran today.

According to gawker. com, Apple is going to be a gay firm from now on.

According to the internet magazine gawker.com, the new man at the top of Apple is gay.

The fifty year old bachelor don’t tell much about his private life, but according to gawker, which asserted to have two serious sources, is the new Apple Chef Tim Cook gay.  According to the report, Cooks homosexuality is well known in Apples managment, but he is frightened to damage Apples image with a coming out. To many homo activists, this is a great step, not just for Apple, but for the gay and lesbian progres.

In Amerika the catholic church is attacking the gay marriage again.

In the U.S. state Rhode Island the debate about the gay marriage has started, and the parliament is in a huge discussion.

And of course the local bishop has to announce his own oppinion. Gouverneur Lincoln Chaffee, which left the republican party a couple of month ago, supports the gay marriage and so it seems like it has a real chance in Rhode Island. Bishop Robert Evans said in a sermon : “This challenge takes the form of an attempt to grant to same sex couples that recognition reserved for the oldest and the only institution God created in His own image: Man as male and female united in marriage. The essence of marriage in God’s plan is a union of one male and one female, who are so physically, emotionally, psychologically and religiously complementary that each completes the other in such a way that without the other each is incomplete.“

This Weekend, the abolishment of the “don’t ask don’t tell” order passes the Senate.

Finally, after a long time of discussions, President Obama made true what he promised while his election campaign.

In a historic decision, the U.S. Senate voted for the abolishment of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” order in the U.S. army. Because of the majority of the Republican party in the U.S. Senate, the decission was more than astonishing. After the the House of Representatives, which voted against “don’t ask, don’t tell” a few weeks ago, the Senate supported their decision. President Obama commended this decision and promised to sign the new law, which is going to abolish “don’t ask, don’t tell“.

In Florida a 14 year old boy blowed a police officer a kiss and was beaten down to earth.

In April 2008 the 14 year old Lance L. blowed a kiss to a police officer in the U.S. state Florida, and was beaten down and arrested for this action.

Now his family is filing charges and want 200.000 US-Dollar smart money. Lance and his younger sister walked the boulevard down in the small town Bradenton Beach in Florida when he saw  police officer Tim M. sitting is his car and blowed him a kiss. The officer left the car and arrested Lance with much more violance than necessary. In front of the court, the officer said that Lance had called him “Nigger”, which seems pretty ridiculous considering the fact that Tim M. isn’t coloured.

The Eu- Commission for basic rights released a report which is some kind of different.

The report, which the Eu- Commission for basic rights released, isn’t easy to take serious.

According to this report, the immigration office of the Czech Republic is testing the sexuality of their asylum seekers, and that in a very weird way. It seems like the asylum seekers, which fled from their home country because of their homosexuality,  are getting this special kind of test. According to the report, they have to pass a phallografic test, in which they have to watch heterosexual pornos while they have measuring electrodes in their private area.

Hungary passes its new constitution, which bans gay marriage rigorous.

At the moment, the hungarian conservative gouverning party, Fidesz-KDNP, is working on a new constitution for the country, which is coming into effect at the beginining of the next year.

The new constitution is going to be much more conservative than the old one and shall be oriented at christian core values. That includes the ban of abortions and mariages, which do not base on the traditional relationship between a man and a woman. It does not suprise that pope Benedikt reacts positive on this news.
