On Saturday, more than 18.000 People celebrated the Gay Pride March for more tolerance in Johannesburg.

On this Saturday, more than 18.000 people demonstrated on Africa’s biggest Gay Pride Celebration in Johannesburg, the organizers informed. In most of the countrys on the african continent, gays and lesbians are getting discriminated and persecuted.

South-Africa is one of the most forward-looking countrys on the continent, which is based on the fact that same- sex marriage and anti-discrimination protections are legal in this country. Organiser Luiz de Barros told AFP: “We are aware of the fact that LGBT people across Africa are being arrested, their human rights are under threat and it’s a growing phenomenon on the continent.
