In private, the first gay magazine in the arabian world appeared in Morocco. Its calles Mithly, what just means “Gay”.

The “Mithly” named magazine  is the first magazine for gay people in the arabian world. A couple of journalists are working in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in private to design the first magazin for gays and lesbians in a arabian country.

According to that fact the feedback was realy high in the homosexuall community, some even called “Mithly” a “Revolution for the society”. But beside this it is realy hard to distribute the magazine against the conservative censorship, and because of this the journalists needed special ways of distribution. So the distribution happens in secret and all journalists use aliases.
