The new study, published in the science magazine “Journal of Evolution and Human Behavior“, tells us the reason, why women and gay men compete to be thinner. It has nothing to do with personal desires, but with competition. The study attests a competitive instinct to compare with other individuals which are more successful. The study was made by the Singapore University Management.

The U.S. couple will fly to Sweden and Honeymoon in the famous ice hotel in Stockholm while the european couple will have their honeymoon in New York and Los Angeles. To win the contest, the companies have launched a homepage, on which the couples can upload videos or photos to make the people vote for them.

In 2001, registered partnerships were legalized in Germany, without offering the same benefits heterosexual couples have. While the gay pride parade took place in Juiz de Fora, a fight between rival gangs started. The two rival gangs fought for areas to sell their drugs. At this fight a teenager was shot to death, so the brazilian police. About 70.000 people celebrated the gay pride, when the teenager was shot at the beginning of the parade, 17 people were detained, including the suspects in the shooting, so the police.

The “How i met your Mother” Star Neil Patrick Harris announced that he is expecting twins in fall.

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka accounced, that they are expecting twins this fall.

Neil, the well known gay actor in the american Sitcom “How i met your mother” and director of the musical “Rent” announced over his Twitter account that he and his boyfriend David Burtka expecting to became daddys in this fall. In Tokyo the Gay Tokyo Pride took place this weekend  and it seems like it was a bang of a party.

In private, the first gay magazine in the arabian world appeared in Morocco. Its calles Mithly, what just means “Gay”.

The “Mithly” named magazine  is the first magazine for gay people in the arabian world. A couple of journalists are working in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in private to design the first magazin for gays and lesbians in a arabian country.

According to that fact the feedback was realy high in the homosexuall community, some even called “Mithly” a “Revolution for the society”. But beside this it is realy hard to distribute the magazine against the conservative censorship, and because of this the journalists needed special ways of distribution. So the distribution happens in secret and all journalists use aliases.

Last week, in Sudan 19 young men were whipped out in puplic because of “cross dressing”.

The 19 young men were charged to wear womensclothing at a party and to dance in a “female way “. A judge in Omdurman, close to Khartum in the Sudan’s north,  adjudged the young men because they had breached against the muslim moral act. In the North of the Sudan, its illegal to act gay or dress “in any gay style“, according to the Scharia.

According to an advocate, which wants to stay anonymous, was the procedure more than disputable. The 19 young men didn’t have a advocat, because nobody wanted to advocate them, and the conviction was clear even before the court case started. The young men were whipped out in front of nearly 200 bystanders, 30 whippings per person.
